Its tough to beat the versitility of the muddler minnow. The muddler is designed to immitate sculpins and other bait fish but easily doubles as a serviceable grasshopper, cricket or even dragonfly nymph. It can be fished dry and doped up, damp, wet and sunk. I consider the muddler minnow to be a must carry pattern and part of my personal deadly dozen. (Target Fish: trout, bass)
